Members deserve a union that tells them the truth and shows them the numbers.
What we commit to
- Contracts delivered and posted on time. The 2021–2026 agreement reached members only after it expired on April 1, 2026, and some still have not received it.
- Quarterly financial reports to members, and the Local 1070 Constitution made publicly available.
- Honest, regular updates on the status of negotiations, not silence.
- Plain-language explanations of the benefits members can’t decode, starting with the sick/medical leave bank: who qualifies, and how decisions are made.
- A member living-conditions survey, with the results brought to leadership, management, and the press.
